TriFection remodeled a master bathroom for our clients in the Piney Point area last year. With a very unique custom shower, that project clearly demonstrated our creative design and execution capabilities. Our clients loved the improved use of space and the personalized style that fit the rich history of their home. When Hurricane Harvey partially flooded the house, including the guest bath, they immediately called TriFection to begin another Piney Point remodel.
Piney Point Remodel in the Guest Bathroom
Similar to the master bath remodel, our clients wanted a guest bath with some distinct character. They sought a new guest bath that had a “fun” element to it while remaining true to the rustic feel of the house. In close consultation with TriFection’s selections experts, they found the perfect combination of materials.
For the custom vanity cabinet in the guest bath, we chose solid beech wood with Shaker style fronts and a Pure White painted finish. The cabinet included legs to provide the look of furniture. A remnant piece of honed soapstone from their previous master bath project served as the countertop selection. The fabricated edge for the countertop was straight polish. The tile choices, perhaps the most critical selection in any bathroom remodel, were Castle Brick White on the walls, Touch Snow on the shower floor, and Stage Boss Blue on the bathroom floor. The porcelain field tile featured a metallic finish and broken joint pattern.
We preserved the original look of wood paneling on the guest bathroom walls. Our client added some personal flair by making his own bathroom accessories from galvanized pipe and reclaimed cedar. Future guests undoubtedly will be impressed with this guest bath!
No-Nonsense Approach to Piney Point Remodeling
Our client is a highly distinguished former Marine. As such, he appreciated TriFection’s diligent planning, well-defined procedures, and proper communication through the chain of command. Those traits have served our clients pretty well in what has been our daily “battle” in the days since Hurricane Harvey. We’d like to thank our client again for the opportunity to remodel his beautiful home. More importantly, we thank him and all U.S. military veterans for their service and sacrifice to this great nation.
