Our cheerful clients in Sugar Land had a bright home, but it featured two dull bathrooms that failed to capture their tastes and spirit. Despite learning to adapt to the lack of functionality in both rooms, the family finally concluded the time had come to stop settling for less than they deserved. They decided to rejuvenate the bathrooms with the help of a quality contractor.
While browsing the HomeShow Radio website for advice, they discovered TriFection is the only bathroom and kitchen remodeling company that host Tom Tynan trusts to recommend to his followers. They subsequently visited our website and spoke with one of our consultants. During this conversation, they learned that TriFection offers professional selections assistance. While these clients had a strong sense of their desired materials for this remodeling project, they appreciated the fact our expertise and attention to detail would ensure a great outcome for their suite bathroom in Sugar Land, Texas.
Neutral Guest Bathroom for Suite in Sugar Land
We first closed off a doorway between the guest bathroom and an adjacent office to improve the use of available space in the bathroom. Access from only the main hallway would be sufficient for future guests. Our clients chose Athens Wood granite with a waterfall edge for the new vanity countertops. We painted the vanity cabinets a very complementary Sherwin Williams Gray Clouds. They found the perfect sinks through a picture on Pinterest and managed to buy them on sale just before the available stock was gone. We completed the vanity with Moen faucets and polished nickel Berenson hardware.
Our clients originally thought the retail price for the preferred bathroom tile was too high for their budget. However, the TriFection selections team sourced the tile for a significantly lower price by applying our contractor discount. Our clients were thrilled and appreciative that they would not have to settle for a backup tile choice. So, we were able to build a new custom shower that featured 12×24 Versailles Chateaux Ivoire Brilliant tile from Interceramic on the walls. We installed 2” Carrera Honed Hexagon tile from Stone Quarry in a broken joint pattern on the shower floor. We tiled the rest of the bathroom floor using a complementary 12×24 Versailles Chateaux Ivoire Natural tile.
Modern frameless glass and a combination of Kohler and Moen fixtures completed the shower. We also upgraded the vent fan and lighting. TriFection’s master painters applied Sherwin Williams Fleur de Sel on the walls and ceiling and Gray Clouds on the trim, matching the cabinets.
Masterful Shower Makeover
Our clients weren’t ready to completely overhaul their master bathroom just yet, so we focused on their highest priority – enjoying a working shower again. We tore out the old shower down to the studs and built a new one from the ground up, including a custom shower pan that will not leak. Our master tile setters installed Middleton Square Oxford White tile from Marazzi in a broken joint pattern on the walls and added Carrera Honed Hexagon from Stone Quarry on the shower floor. We also laid 12×24 Versailles Chateaux Ivoire Natural in an offset design on the bathroom floor. Our client wisely selected bathroom fixtures similar those found in the guest bath for this shower.
Suite Bathroom in Sugar Land is Sweet
Our clients are thrilled with the updates to their home. Guests have praised their now-stylish spaces with comments like ‘Wow, what a bathroom!’ They no longer worry about guest bath accidental interruptions from the nearby office. The new shower in the master bath makes for a far more enjoyable morning routine. These folks now know exactly who to call for the next round of remodeling.
