These TriFection clients in west Houston are professional geologists. They love rocks and natural stone. When we remodeled their kitchen a couple of years ago, the custom granite countertops stole the show. Clearly, the Crema Bordeaux selection provided stunning natural beauty and character to the room. Now, they were ready to achieve the same results in their master bathroom. TriFection had earned their complete trust with our excellent craftsmanship, project management, and client service. So, they invited our team back to lead this natural stone master bath remodel.
A Natural Stone Bathroom With A More User-Friendly Design
The old bathroom included an outdated tub/shower combination. They realized that a modern, roomy walk-in shower with a bench seat would represent a much better use of space. First, we helped them visualize the new concept by showing them pictures of a recently completed TriFection bathroom remodel with a very similar floor plan. Then, we listened carefully as our clients described their need for increased storage and a more user-friendly sitting and make-up area. A good designer always starts the remodeling process by listening instead of immediately making recommendations. As a result, we incorporated a linen cabinet, tower cabinets, and a headknocker cabinet.
Perfect Combination of Materials for This Natural Stone Master Bathroom
The granite countertops for this bathroom would Typhoon Bordeaux, which provided a complementary, not identical, selection to the kitchen. This granite also features lots of movement and color variation. Since our clients prefer the natural look, they chose stained beech wood custom cabinets with a Colonial Cherry stain. For bathroom tile, we installed Quest Ivory porcelain on the shower walls and bathroom floor. It has the look of natural stone but without the cost or periodic maintenance requirements. We also dressed up the shower with a West Hampton Blend accent liner tile and a Zone Fawn Hex shower floor. Sherwin Williams Alabaster served as the wall color without distracting from the beauty of the other selections.
Not Quite Done with Home Transformation
Our clients are thrilled with the TriFection kitchen and natural stone master bath makeovers. In fact, we’re now in the process of completing remodels of a guest bath, powder bath, and some flooring. Once we’re finished, the TriFection impact will be seen all over this house. Not surprisingly, we’ve been managing more whole-home transformations in recent years. As a result of our impressive track record and increased capabilities, more clients have been asking if we’ll build them a TriFection custom home from the ground up. Obviously, that’s a natural evolution of our company and we’re getting ready to take that next step, so stay tuned…
