A few months ago, we described one of our remodeling projects in the Pecan Grove area of Richmond. These nice folks chose TriFection to remodel their kitchen, wet bar, laundry room, guest bath, powder bath, and master bath. With their child now a Texas A&M graduate, the time had come to invest in the home they plan to fully enjoy during their retirement years. Based on the recommendation from home improvement expert Tom Tynan, they trusted TriFection to deliver their well-deserved custom vanity and bathroom upgrades. We previously shared the stunning outcome in the remodeled kitchen, so now it’s time to reveal their new custom upgrades for master bath!
Completely New Look With a Custom Vanity
We remodeled nearly all the rooms simultaneously, while our clients continued to live in the home. Needless to say, this was a major renovation effort. Therefore, our project manager and crews carefully sealed off the construction zones to maintain the most comfortable, safest living environment possible. We demoed the kitchen and master bath down to the studs.
The original master bath definitely showed its age, with plywood cabinets, cultured marble counters, wallpaper, and gold-framed shower glass. The room did not require a total reconfiguration, just a more contemporary look with upgraded finishes. We did, however, remove a partial wall to open up the shower area and eliminated a seldom-used knee space at the custom vanity to provide more cabinet storage.
The new custom cabinets featured solid oak raised panel fronts and a Chestnut stain. We built a new custom mirror frame and medicine cabinet to match. Our clients selected beautiful Silver Lennon granite countertops, including a 6″ granite backsplash that would allow room for new electrical outlets.
The new shower immediately grabs your attention upon entry to the bathroom. With the wall gone and new lighting added, it feels much bigger and brighter. We incorporated modern amenities, such as a handheld showering unit, bench seat, recessed soap niche, and frameless glass. WF Niagra serves as the predominant field tile throughout the bathroom, accented perfectly with Stage Grey Stack tile.
The drop-in bathtub sets in a newly tiled deck and includes massaging jets and a heater. As a result, this remodeled bathroom now offers the ideal escape after a tiring day.
Bathroom Vanity Houston
Our clients love the complete transformation of their home. They also appreciate the diligent advance planning and communication TriFection emphasized prior to construction. Otherwise, this project easily could have gone awry in a number of ways or taken meaningfully longer to complete onsite. They patiently followed and trusted our process, and the results speak for themselves. For that, we are greatly appreciative… As much as our clients liked our project manager and highly professional crews, we’re sure they’re now enjoying the peace and quiet of a completed home remodel and don’t miss us too much!
